Mama is 3.5-year-old Rottweiler Mix that was living as a stray in La Grulla, Texas. She had two litters of puppies according to the couple that found her. One day, she developed a debilitating paralysis. She couldn’t move or walk and couldn’t eat. The couple contacted Yaqui and asked for help. We took her to emergency and the vet suspected tick disease caused the paralysis.
After a round of doxycycline and prednisone, she’s back to walking and living a happy, normal life with her foster family. She’s recently been spayed and is ready for her family!
Mama is playful and mildly energetic. She is good with all humans and most dogs. She likes to be the alpha female so prefer being around male dogs.
Mama has been living at her foster home for a few months and will adjust easily to her furever home. She is positive for heartworm but YAQUI will cover her remaining treatment. She current with vaccines and has been spayed.
