Meet Carmine, a truly special boy with an incredible story of resilience. Carmine came to us as an owner surrender after one of our team members spotted him wandering with a severely broken leg. Despite being in pain, his gentle spirit and trusting eyes spoke volumes.
Thanks to prompt medical care and a visit to an orthopedic specialist, Carmine underwent surgery where screws, a nail, and a stabilizing rod were placed to repair his leg. The good news? He is expected to make a full recovery.
Throughout his healing journey, Carmine has shown remarkable strength and a sweet, loving personality. He’s a reminder of how resilient dogs can be when given a second chance. Even while recovering, he continues to charm everyone around him with his affectionate nature.
