UPDATE - Cathy has recovered well and is now ready to find that special family to call her own.
Cathy was found by a Good Samaritan RGV Stray feeder and taken to the ER due to a horrific head injury. She was injured by either a pellet or some other object and the wound became infected. She is young and should heal well with time. She also has one leg that is shorter than the others as well as a couple of embedded pellets in her back leg.
