Dillon was found at a local dump site outside of rural Edinburg. She, along with 6 other dumped dogs, were rescued and taken immediately for veterinary care. She was limping due to an infection on her paw and had minor skin issues. She was diagnosed with a fungal infection and has been prescribed a medicated wash to help with her condition. She also tested positive for heartworm and hookworm. She's been prescribed a dewormer and will begin heartworm treatment soon. Dillon was very fearful at first. She had trouble trusting us and did not want to allow us to touch her at first. However, she's a completely different dog now! She is so sweet and loves to be with her foster mom. She loves to be petted and adored, and gets upset when she's not around her human foster mom. Dillon has been through so much, but we know she is going to be the perfect dog for someone very soon!
