Hercules, his Mom and his siblings lost their home in a fire. Hercules is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. He is expected to make a full recovery. Hercules is a very kind boy with so much love to give. He is great with kids and great with other dogs. He’s submissive and timid, but warms up to other dogs after getting to know them. He has not been treated with cats, so we aren’t too sure how he would react. While very affectionate with women and children, Hercules is fearful of men. We suspect a man was very cruel to him and he now distrusts men when they are around. He would need a home that is very patient and willing to teach him that not all humans are bad.
