Lainey was hit by a car in early June. Her owners stated they could not afford vet care but tried helping her with medications from Mexico. They said nothing worked and eventually her arm “fell off”.
The owners surrendered Lainey, and we took her to the emergency clinic. Her blood work indicated that she was fighting a major infection, and she needed surgery remove what’s left of her arm.
Her arm was amputated, and she has been recovering in a lovely foster home. Despite losing her arm, she is loving, sweet and kind. She gets around fine on three legs! She wants to run, jump and play. She has a great appetite, loves human beds more than her own, and is a happy girl. She is fully vaccinated and spayed.
Lainey can be adopted out of Texas. Fill out an application if you're interested in this sweet girl.
